Week 15 - character research, video script, screen prototype

This week, we continued to conduct character research with the aim of understanding who the most suitable character is.

We sent additional students in the middle grades a digital questionnaire in which we tested characteristics such as trust in the character. We gathered the results of the research and made a decision on who is the exact character for the CRIT product.

From the results of the research, it emerged that most of the students tend to trust the robot and the superheroes of their gender (girls for girl superheroes and boys for boy superheroes). In the end, we decided to go for the robot character in which most teenagers tended to trust and said they would listen to her.

Also, we refined the script and made sure it would be used in the presentation of the product. We added what we see visually during the voiceover in the final video itself.

We have refined the text so that people can easily understand the value of CRITI through the video.

In addition, after meetings with mentors from the industry, we sat down to characterize the screens again, also in terms of microcopy that would be unequivocally suitable for children.

We worked on the teachers' screens so that they would be assets and could receive more accessible information.

We came to the conclusion that the writing style should be light and casual. Additionally, we emphasized that the wording should be adapted for both genders. We also tailored Criti for teachers. We concluded that this is a more "basic" and old fashion population and necessitates a different type of communication.
