Week 9 - Storyboard and presentation preparation

During the week, we worked on the accuracy of the scenario and prepared a story board presenting our scenario.


Current scenario:

Amir, an 8th grade student, received a paper to submit in history on the subject of the French Revolution. He is a hardworking student, waiting to finish his work to play Sony with his friends. That's why he prefers to prepare the work in an easy way and writes the question "What were the reasons for the French Revolution?" on ChatGPT. The chat provides him with a detailed answer about the reasons for the French Revolution. Amir decides to open the feature that looks like an avatar character.


The character offers him to improve the answer in the chat by presenting four options:

1. Expanding the answer through websites rated as reliable by the Ministry of Education

2. Marking in color sentences that may be inaccurate in the chat answer and offering alternative sources of information

3. Color marking a sentence that may be accurate

4. Social proof


Amir chooses the second option. In response, the avatar marks in orange sentences it has identified as particularly unreliable. Amir goes over the marked sentences and goes to the alternative sources that the avatar suggested to him. Amir uses the information the feature gave him to research and refine the chat answers. Amir prepares the work with the help of the answer of the chat and also with the help of the sources that the feature provided him. The feature made Amir learn to question and think critically when preparing work with ChatGPT. Amir submitted the work. The teacher checked the work. Amir got a high score and was very proud of himself. He told his parents that he got a high grade and felt that they were proud of him.

Also, we prepared a presentation that contains the research done so far, and prepared a lot for the semester summary presentation.
